(press release distribution) Apple has scheduled the iPad 2 launch on March 2 as reported earlier. We’re geared up and anxiously wait for the unveiling of new iPad 2 in few hours from now. Amidst that excitement, a popular magazine spotted a premature listing of Apple iPad 2 at the Amazon Germany website. The link was immediately removed in few minutes but we got some juicy details of the iPad 2.

Firstly, Apple will sell iPad 2 at the same price as the first generation iPad – $499 for 16GB model.

So far the details available from the German Amazon listing are:

- Wi-Fi
- Thunderbolt Port
- Camera
- Bluetooth

It shows that the apple iPad 2 would be available at the Amazon from March 17. This listing arises several questions about the iPad 2 tablet. Will Apple cut the price of current generation iPad and make the new iPad 2 available in more countries at the launch? Does the iPad 2 carry Retina Display? If there is any new technology in the tablet space that could make the current iPad obsolete, it’s the upcoming iPad 2. Samsung has announced a Galaxy Tab model with a 10.1-inch screen. Right now, Apple’s iPad has less screen space than its top competitors. This is not a terrible drawback, but some customers may be attracted to a different device, simply because a bigger screen appeals to them.
