How To Write A Good Press Release?
All press releases must be following the guidelines in order to get approval and to be published at PRC. We will not be publishing plain advertisements, continuous promotional PRs.
There must be something to announce with a press release. Do not use the words We, I, You etc inside the press release content. It has to be well written and must be of a third party writing style. PRs which doesn’t meet our guidelines will not be published even if its a paid press release and there will not be any notification regarding this. So before submitting your PR make sure that it follow the submission guidelines. Members will receive an email notification once the PR is approved and published at the service.
Title and Summary: Add proper and effective title to your news release. As many of the distribution centers take the title and summary alone for news syndication – do it carefully, short and well-written.
Content: Send out a press release to the online distribution networks only if you’ve something to announce (Updates, announcements, service/product launches etc.) Keep in mind that we want the press content to be informative and valuable and not for link building, seo’ing, or spamming. Such submissions will be considered as to be annoying and it’s a waste of time for you as it won’t get approved.
Forgetting to include contact information when submitting a press release is a big mistake. If you don’t want people to contact you reading your release – then what is the need of news distribution? If the contact information isn’t proper readers can’t reach you for more information. Having incorrect spellings and poor grammar may take the submissions to the trash folder.
