Master photographer Jim Nilsen joins his wife Magrit in offering unique photo tours of Italy and Croatia with the serious photographer in mind. Focussing on some of the most beautiful areas that Europe can provide, their company “Jim Nilsen’s Photography Travel Tours” provides a unique and intimate experience for anyone wanting the opportunity to join in truly stunning locations with others who share the passion of photography.
Jim’s background as a professional and award winning travel photographer serves to guide participants to new levels of photographic expertise. Combine this with Magrit’s beginning and roots in southern Europe; you have a potent mix for enjoyable, unique tours.
For the spring of 2013 they are offering three distinct opportunities. In Italy the tours focus on the region of Tuscany and the city of Venice, each with it’s own specialized tour. For Croatia the locations include Dubrovnik, the Plitvice Lakes National Park and the striking Venetian-influenced medieval hill towns of the Istrian Peninsula.
Jim’s and Magrit’s intimate knowledge of the regions they will visit allow participants to experience not only stunning photographic opportunities but a close view of the culture and offerings of each area. Good company, good food and great photography are the rules of the day.
Each group is kept intentionally small for optimum interaction. Jim Nilsen says, “Our photo tours are open to photographers of all skill levels. The only requirement is a desire to have fun and to learn. The photography travel tours offered for the spring of 2013 are as follows:
• Croatia: April 25 to May 5 (11 nights, 10 days)
• Tuscany: May 9 to May 17 (9 days, 9 nights)
• Venice: May 18 to May 23 (4 days, 5 nights)
