Specialty Theatre Installs Professional-grade Dance and Ballet Barres at UTS, Sydney

(PRC) Specialty Theatre, the theatrical and stage rigging, drapery, and equipment division of Specialty Group Pty Ltd, recently installed professional-grade dance and ballet barres at UTS in Sydney.

Specialty Theatre custom makes and installs quality ballet barres for dance studios, rehearsal and performance spaces along with a wide range of theatre supplies, stage curtains, theatrical rigging, and stage lighting.

In the UTS installation, each ballet barre was custom designed for the required space and finished to client’s specifications. The 48mm Tasmanian Oak rails provide a sturdy barre for rehearsal and performance spaces.

The completed dance barre was fixed from floor stanchions but it could also have been mounted from wall brackets. Brackets and stanchions were made of steel to provide the required support and are powder coated for a clean finish.
